Jamshedpur, Jan 2: Dry weather conditions would prevail in Jharkhand today, said a Met bulletin issued by Ranchi Meteorological Centre this morning.
The bulletin, however, said that light rain is expected tomorrow in several pockets of the state, especially north-west and central regions.
Today’s satellite pictures suggested that no significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand.
The cyclonic circulation over north Haryana and the neighbourhood was lying over northwest Uttar Pradesh at 1.5 km above the mean sea level.
There will also be not much significant changes in the minimum temperature during the next 24 hours.
The forecast says that the minimum temperature is expected to witness at least two degrees rise after the next 24 hours.
Shallow to moderate fog was recorded at isolated places over the state during the past 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 27.4°C was recorded at Chaibasa while the lowest minimum temperature of 7.9 °C was recorded at Giridih.
