Dhanbad, January 4: The three-day state annual conference of the Research Society for Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI), Jharkhand chapter, will start tomorrow at Wedlock Green Resort, Govindpur.
This conference is being organized for the first time in Dhanbad and registered by the Medical Council.
Giving this information, organizing secretary Dr Ajay Patwari and RSSDI National Executive Committee member Dr NK Singh said that more than 200 members ( diabetic experts) of Jharkhand, Bihar and Bengal would share their experience and shed light on new developments in diabetes management.

“Expert physicians of the East Zone region would discuss recent research in the treatment of diabetes disease in the country and abroad during a three-day conference,” said Dr Patwari.
The experts will discuss type—1 Diabetes on January 6 and a special session on type 2 diabetes on January 7. For the special session on January 7, members of the Rotary Club, Lions Club, Charter Accountants, lawyers and government officials have been invited.
The national executive member and renowned diabetes expert Dr NK Singh said that the RSSDI has also decided to educate people to check this silent killer (diabetes). Besides, free-of-cost insulin, insulin devices and gluco metres would be distributed.
DR VSV Prasad, Dr G Chatterjee, Dr Seema Patwari, and Dr UK Ojha (HoD medicine SNMMCH) were also present on the occasion.
