Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Raid 2’ to be released on Nov 15 this year

Mumbai, Jan 6: Fans of the 2018 movie ‘Raid’ featuring IRS Officer Amay Patnaik played by Ajay Devgn will be delighted to know that the sequel, ‘Raid 2,’ is slated for a theatrical release on November 15.

The news was announced on Instagram by Panorama Studios’ official page. They stated, “IRS Officer Amay Patnaik returns for another gripping case! Get ready for intense drama and suspense with Raid 2 on November 15, 2024!”

For the much awaited ‘Raid 2’, actor Ajay Devgn has reteamed with director Rajkumar Gupta and producers Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar.

A true narrative from the books of the unsung heroes of the Income Tax Department will be told in the film.

Production on the movie commenced today in Mumbai and will be filmed across Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Mumbai.

The first part of the movie, “Raid,” is based on a true story of the longest raid in history and is set in Lucknow in the early 1980s.

After captivating audiences with its compelling storyline in the initial film, the anticipation for ‘Raid 2’ has surged, as the sequel promises to deliver double the drama and suspense.

Under the banner of T-Series and Panorama Studios, Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar are producing ‘Raid 2’.

The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on November 15, 2024.
