Ranchi, January 31: Transport Minister Champai Soren will succeed Hemant Soren after the ED arrests him.

Health Minister Banna Gupta said we elected Champai Soren our legislative party leader.

JMM central general secretary said that the Governor should administer the oath of office to Champai Soren tonight itself.

In the meantime, Hemant Soren has submitted his resignation  letter and the Governor has accepted it.

Champai Soren is the eldest son of Simal Soren, a farmer from the Jilinggoda village in the Saraikela-Kharsawan district. Champai Soren has also worked on his farms alongside his father. He received education up to the 10th grade from a government school. During this time, he got married at a young age and had four sons and three daughters.
