Ranchi, Feb 6: A Revanth Reddy, the chief minister of Telangana, took part in Manipur to Mumbai Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand today.
Telangana’s Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and State Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy accompanied the Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy.
Sonia Gandhi urged to contest from Telangana
An official statement indicated that Telangana CM Reddy briefed Congress leaders about the preparations undertaken by the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, as well as the progress made on two key promises: providing free bus travel for women and raising the Rajiv Arogyasri limit from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 15 lakh.

Rahul Gandhi was urged to approach Congress leader Sonia Gandhi with a request to stand as a candidate from Telangana in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Rahul Gandhi says BJP is anti-tribal
The yatra is currently stationed in Jharkhand, where Champai Soren’s newly formed government passed a floor test in the Jharkhand Assembly on Monday. To date, the yatra has travelled across five states, primarily by bus.
In his remarks following the alliance’s victory in the floor test, Rahul Gandhi attacked the BJP, accusing it of being anti-tribal.
“Hemant Soren ji said a very touching thing in the Assembly today, “When we came out of the forest, sat next to them, their clothes got dirty”. This is not just a statement, it is the pain of the entire tribal society. The BJP is not tolerating the fact that there is a tribal Chief Minister in the state. Today Jharkhand has given a message to the entire country that the power of the people cannot be subdued by intimidation. This is a victory for the unity of the poor and the tribals, congratulations to all of you” Rahul Gandhi stated.
