Ranchi, February 9: Brimming with hope and nostalgic reverie, DPS Ranchi hosted a blessing ceremony, bidding a farewell to the students of class XII on Friday at the Vivekananda Auditorium.

The ceremony began with a melodious welcome song, evoking a sense of warmth and camaraderie among the attendees, followed by a brief introduction.

The programme then proceeded with a bouquet presentation to Principal Dr Ram Singh as a token of gratitude and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp invoking blessings for the graduating students.

In his address, the Principal infused the students with hope and determination and the heartfelt messages by teachers through a video presentation fostered feelings of connection, unity and solidarity among them.

Vibrant dance performance

The celebration then proceeded with a vibrant dance performance and an enchanting musical rendition by class XI students.

Students of class XII further expressed their gratitude by sharing their heartfelt reflections and memories of the unforgettable time they spent in DPS Ranchi.

Mr & Miss DPS

Aryaman Thapa and Mudita Roy won the most awaited title of Mr & Miss DPS.

Other titles to recognise various academic and co–scholastic achievements were Jersey Jock, Mr/Ms Congeniality, Mr/Ms Opulent Orator, Mr/Ms Muses Maestro, Mr/Ms Eclectic Erudites, Mr/Ms Atomically Adept, Mr/Ms Buckheads, Mr/Ms Liberal Laureate and Mr/Ms Social Solitaire.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving the attendees with mixed emotions, marking their transition with blessings and fond memories, and guiding them towards success and fulfilment in their future endeavours.
