Aadhaar update services now available for 12 hours at Jamshedpur head post office

Jamshedpur, May 27: In a move to improve public convenience, the Postal Department has launched a 12-hour Aadhaar service at the Jamshedpur Head Post Office. Residents can now avail Aadhaar-related services daily from 7 am to 7 pm without interruption.

The initiative has been launched to manage the increasing rush for Aadhaar updates and help working professionals, students, and senior citizens who are unable to visit during normal office hours.

Under the extended service, citizens can complete biometric updates, including fingerprint, iris scan, and photograph changes, along with demographic corrections such as name, date of birth, gender, address, mobile number, and email ID updates.

The centre is also providing fresh Aadhaar enrolment for children and people who are yet to register.
