New Delhi, September 11: Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has joined hands with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to promote cyber safety initiatives.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in a post on X, thanked Bachchan for his support, noting that it would boost efforts toward establishing a cyber-secure India.
“Pursuing Modi Ji’s vision, the Ministry of Home Affairs is committed to ensuring a safe cyberspace. The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) has made significant strides in this direction. I thank Amitabh Bachchan Ji for joining this campaign. His active involvement will further advance our mission to build a Cyber-Secure Bharat,” Amit Shah posted on X.

Cyber Dost, the Home Ministry’s cyber awareness initiative, expressed its appreciation for Amitabh Bachchan’s involvement, highlighting the significance of public vigilance in the fight against online fraud.

In a post on X, Cyber Dost said, “Supporting PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji and HM Shri Amit Shah Ji’s vision, Amitabh Bachchan Ji has joined I4C’s campaign to make India cyber-secure. You too can join this initiative by staying vigilant against cyber fraud and contributing to building a Cyber-Secure Bharat.”
Amitabh Bachchan, in a video message, emphasized the importance of vigilance and collective action against the increasing threat of cybercrime.
“Cybercrime is becoming a growing concern, not just in India but globally. The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, under the Home Ministry, is taking robust steps to tackle this issue. With Home Minister Amit Shah’s insistence, I’ve joined this campaign, and I urge everyone to stay vigilant. A bit of caution can save us from the dangers of cyber fraud,” he stated.
