Dhanbad, May 22: Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today came down heavily on the INDI Alliance for corruption and said that he felt ashamed over the way they are running Jharkhand.

Chouhan, who was on Wednesday afternoon addressing a poll rally in support of party candidate Dhulu Mahto at Digwadih, around 16 km away from here, said INDI Alliance leaders do not feel ashamed. “Mountains vanish overnight in Jharkhand. Coal, sand, and minerals are openly being looted and MNREGA funds are siphoned off,” he said.

INDI leaders build mountain of cash out of Modi money

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi sends money from Delhi for development and interest of Jharkhand people but INDI leaders built up a mountain of money from that fund,” said the former MP chief minister.

Chouhan said the money they had stacked belonged to the people of Jharkhand. “Schools, colleges, and irrigation projects could have been opened in Jharkhand but they destroyed the lives of the new generation by shamelessly looting them,” he said.

He said all looted money of the public would be recovered from corrupt persons of Jharkhand.

“INDI Gathbandhan is Thagbandhan at the national level. In Bengal, several leaders of TMC are in jail. In Bihar, several leaders of RJD are facing cases. In Telangana TRS leader Bahanji K Kavita is in jail for a corruption charge and Cong leaders are on bail,” said Chouhan.

Chauhan questions Kejriwal’s silence on Swati

Taking a dig at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Chouhan called him Natwarlal for keeping silent on the Swati Maliwal assault case.

Natwarlal was a fraudster known for his high-profile crimes and prison escapes.

“It is shameful that a woman leader is assaulted in the CM house and Arvind Kejriwal is silent.  I think the PA of Kejriwal knows all scams that is why the Delhi chief minister is silent,” he said.

Chouhan warned that Kejriwal should not forget that stripping a woman triggered the Mahabharata.

Recalling his pet project Ladli Bahna Yojna of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi passed the Nari Shakti Vandan Act to give 33% reservation for women in parliament and assemblies.
