PINAKI MAJUMDAR
Jamshedpur, Oct 8: In a major breakthrough, the West Bengal Police carried out raids in Jamshedpur and arrested two key suspects linked to the sensational daylight murder of gold trader Shankar Jana and the looting of 15 kg of gold in Shambhunath Das Lane at Baranagar in Kolkata.
The accused had posed as customers, attacked Jana inside his jewellery shop, tied him up, looted gold ornaments, and killed him before fleeing.
They used red chilli powder to immobilize him and disabled CCTV cameras to execute the planned heist.
