New Delhi, Dec 12: Bhajan Lal Sharma has been chosen as the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
He emerged victorious in the recently concluded elections for the Sanganer assembly seat, securing a win over Congress’s Pushpendra Bhardwaj with a margin of more than 48,081 votes.
Vasundhara Raje of the BJP, who was also a candidate for the top position, announced Bhajan Lal Sharma’s selection as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
Additionally, Diya Kumari and Premchand Bairwa have been appointed as the two deputies of Bhajan Lal Sharma.
MLA Vasudev Devnani, who hails from Ajmer and has previously held the position of the state Education Minister, will assume the role of the Speaker.

Bhajan Lal Sharma: Who is he?
Bhajan Lal Sharma’s residence is at Jawahar Circle in Jaipur. He is originally from Bharatpur. He has been working in the organization for a long time. He has been working as the State General Secretary. BJP had fielded him for the first time from a safe seat like Sanganer of Jaipur. Bhajanlal Sharma was made the candidate by cancelling the ticket of the previous MLA.
Being a first-time MLA, he has affiliations with both the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).
Bhajan Lal Sharma of the BJP has had a notable political career in Rajasthan, marked by substantial accomplishments. He has held the position of State General Secretary for the BJP on four occasions.
With an astounding 145,162 votes, he defeated Pushpendra Bhardwaj of the Indian National Congress (INC), who received 97,081 votes, to win the Sanganer assembly seat.
