Ranchi, April 11: NTPC Mining Limited (NML) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FCI Aravali Gypsum & Minerals India Limited (FAGMIL) in Jodhpur to strengthen collaboration in the minerals sector, with a focus on critical and strategic minerals.

The MoU was signed by Vijay Kumar Kanungo, General Manager, NTPC Mining Limited, and Rajendra Singh Rathore, General Manager, FAGMIL, in the presence of FAGMIL CMD P.K. Das.

The agreement aims to create a comprehensive framework across the mineral value chain—from exploration and resource acquisition to the development of value-added products—both in India and overseas.

A key objective of the partnership is to enhance domestic capabilities, reduce import dependence, and promote self-reliance in critical minerals.

Both organisations will leverage their technical and financial strengths to improve competitiveness, while also promoting knowledge sharing, technology exchange, and innovation in mineral processing and materials development.
