Success and happiness

“The meaning of success is not getting a coveted job, car, house and other materialistic elements. Rather in real life, it counts how much happiness you brought in your family, society and contribution in nation building,” said Dr Balagurusamy.
Dr Balagurusamy, a former Unna University, Chennai Vice-Chancellor,  advised the engineering boys and girls students in a jam-packed hall to set the vision, mission and goal for achieving success in  life.

JUT VC Dr DK Singh

Dr DK Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT) Ranchi, on the occasion, while addressing the engineering students, said that the meaning of success is how many lives you have enlightened and how many people you made happy, not the money and other lavish things you earned.

“If there is competition, you have no competition with others albeit you are competing with your performance only.  Simply achieving 90% marks does make you great. So, if you want to be part of nation-building and want to return the society there is no competition and stress.  The purpose of success is to enlighten the life of others and make people happy,” said Dr Singh.

Chief guest and other dignitaries in the seminar

Dr Sanjeev Rai, OSD  to the governor, advised the engineering students to bank on social value which leads to success in life. “Accidental behaviour leads people towards the wrong track,” he said.

BIT Director Dr Pankaj Rai, Career Development Centre CDC) Chairman Dr Ghanshyam, final year students Aniket Tiwary and Rashmita Soren also addressed.

Dr Ghanshyam advised the students to set goals in life to make people happy which will count the success of your life.
