Jamshedpur, January 23: Soon after assuming office, BJP State President and MP Aditya Sahu arrived in Jamshedpur and met the family members of Kairav Gandhi, the son of a local industrialist, who has been missing for several days.

Aditya Sahu had earlier taken charge from outgoing State President and Leader of the Opposition Babulal Marandi at the BJP state office. Immediately after the formal handover, he left for Jamshedpur.

Senior BJP Leaders Accompany State President

In Jamshedpur, Aditya Sahu visited Kairav Gandhi’s residence along with former Chief Ministers Arjun Munda and Raghubar Das, MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, former State President Dineshanand Goswami, and State Vice President Balmukund Sahay.

The leaders met the family members and expressed solidarity during the ongoing crisis.

‘BJP Stands with the Family’

Consoling the family, Aditya Sahu said the BJP stands firmly with them and will continue to support them until Kairav is traced.

He claimed that due to the BJP’s efforts, more than 50 missing children have been recovered in Jharkhand in recent years.

Targeting the state government, he alleged that under the Hemant Soren-led government, kidnapping incidents have increased.

“The only industry thriving in the state today is the kidnapping industry,” he alleged.

Pressure on Administration to Intensify Search

Aditya Sahu said the BJP is continuously pressuring the administration to intensify efforts to trace the missing industrialist’s son.

He instructed the Jamshedpur District BJP President to meet the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) on January 24 and submit a memorandum demanding the swift recovery of Kairav Gandhi.

He further announced that on January 27, a high-level BJP delegation led by him will meet the Director General of Police (DGP) at the Ranchi Police Headquarters.

The delegation will submit a memorandum seeking immediate and effective action in the case.
