THE JHARKHAND STORY NETWORK

Ranchi, Sept 26: The BJP today continued to deploy star campaigners in the run-up to the assembly elections to get an edge in Jharkhand.

While Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan addressed the ‘Parivartan Mahasabha’ at Sisai in Gumla, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh made a scathing attack on the Hemant Soren government at a rally in Dhanbad.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami addressed the ‘Parivartan Sabha’ organized in Kundhit, Jamtara, while Bhojpuri actor-turned-politician Ravi Kishan took the charge to expose the Hemant Soren’s development plank at Barkagaon in Hazaribagh.

Ladli Behna Yojana

Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that we executed the Ladli Behna Yojana in Madhya Pradesh. “We tried to change the lives of poor sisters. If there was a need for Rs 500-1000, then the poor sister would be helpless, then the idea came to our mind that every sister should have a bank account and money should come into it every month,” he added.

Taking a dig at the state government, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Hemant Soren had promised Rs 2,000 for stove expenses in the last election. He promised it 4 years ago, but nobody got it. “When the elections came, he remembered the sisters and started putting Rs 1,000 a month ago. There is a Maiyaan Samman Yojana… but there cannot be a bigger insult to sisters than this. Sisters should get Rs 1.20 lakh in a year but Hemant Soren ate up this money. What was Hemant Soren doing for four years?” he asked.

Rajnath slams Hemant Govt for corruption

On the other hand, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that rampant corruption has derailed the original vision behind the creation of Jharkhand.

BJP’s leadership free from corruption

Rajnath Singh highlighted the tenure of previous BJP chief ministers, including Babulal Marandi, Arjun Munda, and Raghubar Das, noting that no allegations of corruption were made against them. “Not even the opposition accused them of corruption,” Singh remarked.

He contrasted this with Hemant Soren’s administration, accusing Soren of setting a “record in corruption” during his five-year term.

Champai Soren’s removal

Referring to the removal of Champai Soren from his chief ministerial position, Singh stated that Champai, being poor and honest, was ousted by Hemant Soren after his release from jail.

Bangladeshi infiltrators to be ousted

In a strong statement, Singh promised that if the BJP forms the government in Jharkhand, Bangladeshi infiltrators will be identified and ousted from the state.

Lotus set to bloom in Jharkhand

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the enthusiasm and support of people is an indication that this time the lotus flower is going to bloom in Jharkhand.

Rise above caste, vote as a Hindu: Ravi Kishan

Gorakhpur MP Ravi Kishan said that none of the promises made by Hemant Soren at the time of elections to give 72 thousand annually and to give employment to the youth have been fulfilled.

He said that Hemant Soren came to power by lying and is running the government by lying. “Ever since Hemant Soren’s government has come to power in the state, the number of tribals is decreasing.

“Infiltrators are being given shelter in the state, conversion is being encouraged and Hinduism is being targeted,” he said.

Targeting the state government, he asked who was conspiring to reduce the number of Hindus. Today sisters and daughters in Jharkhand are afraid to go out at night. Law and order have collapsed in the state and public money is being looted.

MP Kishan said that we are all Hindus, we do not have any caste. Elections are going to be held in the state, when the time to vote comes, you have to vote as a Hindu, not as a caste. Rise above caste and live as a Hindu, otherwise, we will be divided. If we stay together, we will survive.
