Dubai, Nov 27: Following India’s dominant 295-run victory over Australia at Perth, Indian pace ace Jasprit Bumrah climbed to the top of the ICC Men’s Test Player Rankings among bowlers.
Bumrah claimed eight wickets in the match including a five-wicket haul in the first innings and was ‘Player of the Match’.
He advanced two positions, overtaking South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada and Australia’s Josh Hazlewood, to regain his spot as the number-one bowler in Test cricket.

Jaiswal surges to rank two among Test batters
Yashasvi Jaiswal’s knock of 161 runs in the Perth Test boosted his position to second in the Test batter rankings. His remarkable performance also earned him a career-best rating of 825, just 78 points behind Joe Root who is currently ranked one.
Virat Kohli has climbed nine places to reach 13th in the rankings after scoring his 30th Test century.
Mohammed Siraj has moved up three spots to 25th in the Test bowler rankings after taking five wickets in the match against Australia in Perth.
Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin continue to hold the top two spots in the Test all-rounder rankings, even though neither played in the opening Test against Australia.
