Jamshedpur, Feb 6: Education is not confined to school and classrooms, but continues throughout life.

On February 5, the graduation ceremony, for the outgoing batch of Std XII (23-24) was organized in ‘Kalakriti’, the school auditorium.

The chief guest for the evening was Professor Durga D. Pathak, an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur.

He has been associated with Tata Steel for 37 years and is presently a consultant with a few business schools.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a prayer song followed by the academic procession led by the principal, vice-principals, coordinators and class teachers.

The students carried lamps and placed them beside the mother lamp which gives the message “Let us spread the light of knowledge and dispel darkness and ignorance.”

Vice-Principal Suparna Roy welcomed the guests. Principal Gurpreet Bhambra bestowed her blessings on the students and wished them a bright future ahead.

Excelsior, the school magazine, was released on this occasion by the chief guest.

Club awards were given to the deserving students. Certificates and mementoes were given to all the graduating students.

Anita Sharma and Malini Ashok were masters of the ceremony.

K. Priya wished the students a bright future on behalf of her peers.

Chandrashekhar (Chairperson, Finance) wished the students good luck for their board exams and all their future endeavours.
