Jamshedpur, May 2: International Labours’ Day was celebrated at D.B.M S. Kadma High School in Jamshedpur on Wednesday.
The celebration took place at Kalakriti Auditorium. The function started with a prayer song.
The workers were welcomed and their contribution to the school was acknowledged. Dance and music programmes were showcased signifying the dignity of labours.
Different types of games were also organized in which ‘bhaiyas ‘ and ‘didis’ of the school enthusiastically participated. They were given prizes also.

On this occasion, B. Chandrashekhar (Chairperson, Finance, D. B. M. S. Board of Trustees), Lalitha Chandrashekhar (Chairperson- Administration, D. B. M. S. Board of Trustees & President – D.B.M.S. Kadma High School), Anita Ramkrishna (Secretary), Bhuvana Krishnan (Treasurer), Aruna Ravi (Jt. Treasurer), Gurpreet Bhambra (Principal), S. Shireen (Vice Principal – Jr. Section), and teachers were present.
They praised the ceaseless efforts of the workforce of the school and congratulated them for their selfless services.
Workers were overwhelmed by the love and affection shown to them through the function.
The ceremony came to a close with a formal vote of thanks
