Jamshedpur, Jan 15: Kerala Samajam Model School had its Graduation Ceremony 2024 for the outgoing batch of Std XII 2023-24 students on January 12.

The event organised in the evening saw 127 students graduating, 57 in the Science Stream and 70 in the Commerce Stream.

The ceremony consisted of the awarding of certificates and batch souvenirs to all the students. The school has instituted various categories of awards to recognize the holistic development of students:

The Principal’s Award was given away to Dilpreet Kaur and Shreya Agarwal.

Academic Star of the Year went to Ariba Razi, Anushka Singh, Shreya Agarwal and Shril Singh.

Rehatpreet Singh, Kritika Raj, Gayatri Dilip, Pragya, Mekha Mariyam, Shreya Agarwal, Avinash Bala, Hanshika Singh and Harshita Kumari got the Letters of Appreciation.

The Sports Star of the Year award was won by Sneha Prasad while the Sports Star of the Class award was won by Varun Prasad.

The Versatile Award went to Pragati Shukla while Rahul Kumar Giri won the Extra Mile Award.

Heartfelt farewell

This was followed by experience sharing by students who appreciated and thanked the school management, teachers and support staff. Several students walked down memory lane while watching the video presentation capturing their school journey.

Teachers blessed and wished them the very best in life. Students expressed their profound feelings on this solemn occasion.

K.P.G. Nair, Chairman, Kerala Samajam addressed the graduating students and honoured them.

The Graduation Ceremony culminated with a candle lighting ceremony which was lit by students and respective class teachers.

It was an emotional moment for students who were bidding goodbye to their school after having spent their fourteen years budding from childhood to socially young responsible adults.
