Campus News: RVS Academy Jamshedpur organises a session on road safety

Jamshedpur, Feb 22: The Mango-based RVS Academy organized a session on Road Safety to increase awareness about road safety and traffic rules among students on the campus today.

The School Management Committee chairman Binda Singh, principal Visha Mohindra and vice-principal Anita Tiwari graced the occasion.

The program began with prayers and reflection on the day, following which students presented a play on road safety after which the principal welcomed and introduced the honored guests.

The session was conducted by Sunil Kumar, Head of Safety Department, Tata Steel, Mom Mitra, Senior Manager, Safety Department, Tata Steel, and Ravi Prakash, Manager (Safety), for the students of classes VI to XII.

Students were given information about various traffic rules that should be followed to maintain safety on the roads.

Awareness was given about traffic rules to reduce deaths due to road accidents.

Commitment sheets were distributed among students, which parents had to sign.

The rationale behind this leaflet was to identify whether parents are concerned and aware of road safety.

In the end, Adnan Ahmed of Std IX A proposed the vote of thanks. Everyone took a pledge to follow road safety rules.
