Ranchi, Jan 18: The Department of Economics, St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi, organized a captivating lecture on employment and social security featuring the distinguished labour economist, Prof. Jeemol Unni from Ahmedabad University.

The event, held at Fr. C. DE Brower Auditorium, witnessed a significant turnout of esteemed individuals, including Fr. Nabor Lakra, Principal, St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi, Dr. Harishwar Dayal, HOD of the Economics Department, Dr. B.K. Sinha, Controller of Examination, and esteemed faculty members.

Prof. Jeemol Unni, with her vast expertise in the field of economics, delivered an insightful lecture that shed light on the pressing issues of employment and social security. Her thought-provoking ideas and in-depth analysis captivated the students, providing valuable insights into the current economic landscape.

Pandey, Asst. Prof. Zeba Ashraf, Asst. Prof. Ashish Ranjan, and Asst. Prof. Anshul, added immense value to the event. Their active participation and engagement demonstrated the college’s commitment to fostering intellectual discussions and promoting a deeper understanding of economic issues.

The lecture served as a platform for students, faculty members, and other attendees to gain valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities surrounding employment and social security.
