CISCE Regional Girls’ Volleyball Tournament 2025 concludes in Jamshedpur

THE JHARKHAND STORY NETWORK

 

Jamshedpur, August 8: The CISCE Regional Volleyball Tournament (For Girls), hosted by D.B.M.S. English School, Jamshedpur, concluded on a high note after two days of matches and participation from teams representing Jamshedpur, Bhagalpur, Ranchi, and Dhanbad zones.

Held on August 7 and 8, the tournament featured three competitive categories — under 14, under 17, and under 19.

The tournament results were as follows:

In the Under-14 category, Bhagalpur Zone secured the championship, followed by Dhanbad Zone as runner-up and Ranchi Zone in third place.

In the Under-17 category, Bhagalpur Zone once again emerged victorious, with Dhanbad Zone taking second place and Ranchi Zone third.

In the Under-19 category, Dhanbad Zone clinched the winner’s title, followed by Bhagalpur Zone and Jamshedpur Zone in second and third positions respectively.

The closing ceremony was graced by Nandini Shukla, Principal of Kerala Samajam Model School and President of ASISC Bihar-Jharkhand, as the Chief Guest. Archana Ramesh, Secretary of the School Managing Committee, and Lalitha Seshadri, Treasurer, presented tokens of appreciation to the technical officials in recognition of their dedicated efforts.

A memento was presented to the Chief Guest by Archana Ramesh, after which Nandini Shukla addressed the gathering, encouraging participants to embrace the spirit of sports and strive for excellence on and off the field.

The ceremony continued with a vote of thanks by P.K. Sahu, Vice Principal of D.B.M.S. English School. The event concluded with the lowering of the CISCE Sports Flag, symbolising the end of a tournament.
