He conveyed heartfelt sympathies to the families of the victims and those affected by the explosion, which tore through a slow-moving car near the Red Fort Metro Station on Monday evening, also gutting several vehicles.

The Chief Justice described the incident as a moment that calls for “collective compassion and solidarity,” adding that while words cannot erase the pain of such loss, the shared empathy of the nation may bring comfort to the bereaved.

Reaffirming the judiciary’s commitment, he emphasized that the Supreme Court remains “steadfast in upholding the rule of law, ensuring justice, and protecting the dignity of every citizen.”

He concluded his message by praying for courage and solace for the families mourning this “irreparable loss.”
