Jamshedpur, May 6: Chief Minister, Champai Soren got annoyed at the sight of empty chairs during a party workers meeting scheduled at Karandih in the suburban Parsudih area on Sunday evening.
The Chief Minister was supposed to address the party workers and wanted to share important tips about how to go around among the electorate for garnering support in favour of the INDI Alliance candidate Sameer Mohanty contesting for the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat.
JMM bastion Karandih
Karandih is considered to be a JMM bastion and when Champai Soren arrived at the venue, he found most of the chairs lying unoccupied. Several JMM leaders, including the party’s Potka and Jugsalai assembly constituencies’ legislators Sanjeev Sardar and Mangal Kalindi respectively were seated on the podium.
Having found the empty chairs, the chief minister got visibly angry and picked up the microphone and gave vent to his anger on the party workers for not having occupied their seats. He subsequently urged the party men to come to the venue and occupy the chairs.

CM Champai gives tips to influence voters
It was after the grumbling by the chief minister that the party workers who were loitering outside the venue had started trickling into the venue made of erected shamiana.
After the empty chairs were partially filled up the chief minister addressed them and gave them the strategic “guru mantra” as to how to influence the potential voters to cast their votes in favour of the INDI Alliance candidate Sameer Mohanty.
The legislators Sanjeev Sardar and Mangal Kalindi also spoke to the party workers and interacted over the way the latter should reach out to the people to garner support in favour of Sameer Mohanty.
It may be mentioned here that Sameer Mohanty who is the JMM legislator from Baharagora constituency is pitted against the two-time MP, Vidyut Baran Mahto of BJP.
