Mumbai, Dec 29: The creators of Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Dunki’, arranged an exclusive and special screening for diplomats from different countries in Mumbai on Thursday.
Attendees at the screening included representatives from Hungary, the USA, the United Kingdom, Wales, Belgium, Germany, Australia, France, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Switzerland, Spain, Turkey, Israel, South Korea, Finland, Mauritius, Oman, and the Netherlands.
The director of ‘Dunki’ Rajkumar Hirani was also present during the screening.
Since its release on December 21, the movie has become a hot topic in town, generating mixed reviews from the audience.

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki’ also features Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Grover, Boman Irani and Vikram Kochhar in key roles.
Movie based on immigration issue
‘Dunki’ addresses the theme of immigration, drawing its title from the concept of a “donkey journey,” depicting the challenging and perilous routes people globally undertake to reach their desired immigration destinations.
Penned by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon, ‘Dunki’ narrates a touching story of four friends and their pursuit of reaching distant lands. The narrative unfolds the challenging yet transformative journey they embark upon to turn their aspirations into reality. Rooted in real-life encounters, ‘Dunki’ weaves a tale of love and camaraderie, intertwining diverse narratives that offer both humor and heartbreak as it unfolds the answers to life’s ups and downs.
