New Delhi, Dec 20: The Rouse Avenue Court asked for a response from the CBI on Wednesday in response to a plea made by Tejaswi Yadav, Lalu Prasad Yadav, and Rabri Devi, among other accused parties, asking for the supply of documents that were submitted with the charge sheet.
Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, and Tejaswi Yadav are charged as accused in the Land for Job Scam.
At this point, the case is undergoing a review of documents following the submission of the charge sheet.
The next hearing is scheduled for January 6, 2024.
Special Judge Vishal Gogne instructed the CBI to respond to eight accused parties’ appeals for the provision of deficient documents.

Tejaswi seeks permission to go to Australia
Tejaswi Yadav, the deputy chief minister of Bihar, has made an application to get permission to visit Australia next month. In addition, he requested authorization to renew his passport. On December 22, the Court will most likely hear the application.
Tejaswi’s lawyer stated that he is set to embark on a journey to Australia commencing on January 6.
Land-for-job-scam
The land-for-job scam relates to the time when Lalu Yadav served as the railway minister during the initial term of the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance government at the Central level.
During the period from 2004 to 2009, the accusation is that numerous individuals were appointed to Group “D” positions across different zones of the Indian Railways. In return, these individuals allegedly transferred their land to the family members of the then railway minister Lalu Yadav and A K Infosystems Private Limited.
