Dhanbad, Nov 13: The Dhanbad district administration on Thursday organised a cyclothon along the picturesque banks of Topchachi Lake, about 37 km from the district headquarters, as part of the celebrations marking the silver jubilee of Jharkhand’s formation.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Aditya Ranjan, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prabhat Kumar, and several senior district officials participated in the event, along with over 200 enthusiastic youths who joined the unique programme at the iconic Topchachi Lake.

Speaking on the occasion, DC Aditya Ranjan said the 25th year of Jharkhand represents pride, progress, and determination. “To build a developed Jharkhand, we must work with dedication for the next 25 years,” he stated.

He further emphasized that the administration’s priority is to accelerate development in key sectors such as education, health, and employment to ensure inclusive growth across the state.
