Jamshedpur, Feb 7: D.B.M.S. Kadma High School’s Class XII students’ Graduation Day function was held at the school auditorium here today.
Colonel Arup Ratan Basu was present as the chief guest. The members of the school managing committee, Principal Gurpreet Bhambra, Vice Principals Suparna Roy, S. Shireen, Coordinator Benazir Gulshan and Malini Ashok along with the chief guest, inaugurated the programme by lighting the traditional lamp.
Along with the prayer song, all the students of class XII lit the lamp and spread the light of knowledge. The welcome address was delivered by the Vice Principal of the senior school, Suparna Roy.

Principal’s Address and Award Distribution
On this occasion, the Principal of the school, Gurpreet Bhambra gave her best wishes to the students and guided them for the future.
The members of the school management unveiled the school magazine ‘Excelsior’. All students were given a memento, certificate and a copy of the annual magazine on this occasion.
The students who played an active role in various clubs were awarded the Best Student of the club for each of the 18 clubs. The Master of ceremonies were Teachers K. Priya and Rahul Kumar Rajak.
Words of Encouragement
On this occasion, the Head of the Hindi Department, Rani Kumari shared her experiences with the students. B. Chandrashekhar (Chairperson Finance) wished the students all the best for the upcoming examination and their happy future life.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the Vice Principal, Junior School, S. Shireen followed by the school song and then the National Anthem.
