Jamshedpur, March 27: Day temperature is expected to witness a further rise across Jharkhand in the next 72 hours.

The forecast indicated a gradual rise in maximum temperature by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius during the next three days, thereafter there would be no significant change in maximum temperature.

Weathermen said mainly clear sky and dry weather are expected to prevail in most parts of Jharkhand during the next 72 hours.

The possibility of any Nor’wester or thunderstorm activity has been ruled out for the next three days.

Met statistics revealed that Baharagora in East Singhbhum district recorded the state’s highest maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius yesterday while Khunti recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 15.6 degrees Celsius today.

Yesterday Ranchi recorded a maximum temperature of 33.2 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal while Jamshedpur recorded 37.4 degrees Celsius, 2.6 notches above the average normal.
