Wayanad, July 31: As of the morning of Wednesday, the death toll from the Wayanad landslide tragedy has increased to 150.

Brigadier Arjun Seagan, the Commandant of the Para Regimental Training Centre, stated that between 500 and 600 personnel from the NDRF, army, state police, forest officials, and volunteers were involved in the rescue operations on Wednesday.

He also mentioned that the teams on the ground are working to rebuild the bridge to facilitate faster movement of earth-moving equipment and simplify the digging process.
