New Delhi, Feb 8: The Bharatiya Janata Party is on track to form the government in Delhi after 27 years, with current trends from the Election Commission showing the party leading in 47 seats, while the AAP is ahead in 23. The Congress has failed to secure a single seat so far.

Meanwhile, AAP candidate Manish Sisodia conceded defeat in the Jangpura constituency, losing to BJP’s Tarvinder Singh Marwah by 594 votes.

Speaking to the media, Sisodia acknowledged the hard work of party workers and the support he received from voters. He also congratulated his opponent and expressed hope that the newly elected representative would serve the constituency well.

Several top AAP leaders, including party chief Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj, and senior leader Satyendra Jain, are trailing in their respective constituencies.
