Jamshedpur, Oct 14: A thought-provoking seminar on “Entrepreneurship: The Foundation of Self-Reliant India” was held on Monday at the Swadeshi Mela currently underway at Gopal Maidan in Bistupur.

The event drew leading industrialists, educationists, and youth representatives who underscored the pivotal role of entrepreneurship and innovation in shaping an Atmanirbhar Bharat.

RSB Group Vice Chairman and Managing Director S.K. Behera, the chief guest, emphasized that self-reliance means creating a nation capable of fulfilling its own needs through indigenous innovation, technology, and youth empowerment.

“An entrepreneur not only transforms his own life but also creates opportunities for others. To realize the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, we must embrace innovation, promote small enterprises, and take pride in Indian products,” he said.

Delivering the keynote address, Manoj Kumar Singh said, “India’s journey toward becoming a developed nation is a collective mission. By fostering innovation, resilience, and entrepreneurship, we can unlock the potential of millions and build a prosperous, inclusive, and self-reliant India by 2047.”

Convener Amitabh Senapati noted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, several government schemes — including Startup India, Make in India, Mudra Yojana, and Stand-Up India — are empowering youth to become entrepreneurs.

The event was chaired by Amlesh Jha, District Co-coordinator of Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan.
