Ranchi, March 28: Ramtahal Choudhary, MP from Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency for five times on a BJP ticket, has joined Congress. For many days, there were speculations about Ramtahal joining Congress. Meanwhile, on Thursday, Ramtahal  Chaudhary joined the Congress in Delhi. During this, Congress leader Pawan Kheda, Jharkhand Congress in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir and state president Rajesh Thakur were present.

Notably, the BJP did not give Ramtahal Chaudhary a ticket in 2019 from Ranchi parliamentary constituency. After this, he became a rebel and left the BJP. He contested the 2019 elections as an independent candidate. However, he suffered a crushing defeat. BJP’s Sanjay Seth won from the Ranchi Lok Sabha seat.

Meanwhile, Ravindra Pandey, former MP from Giridih and considered a veteran leader of BJP, is also in Delhi. He met Jharkhand in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir there
