Patna, September 21: Police officials reported on Saturday that a female student’s body was discovered hanging in her room within the hostel premises at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna.
Police officials stated that the body was discovered on Friday, hanging in her room at Kadambini Hostel on the Bihta campus of NIT Patna.

Police recover suicide note
The police reported that the deceased student hailed from Andhra Pradesh.
The authorities have registered a case, and the body has been sent to Danapur Hospital for a post-mortem and additional medical procedures.
According to the police, a suicide note was found in the deceased’s room, and an investigation has been initiated.
