Ranchi, March 29: The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has announced that the Jharkhand Combined Civil Services (Direct Recruitment) Preliminary Examination 2025 will be conducted on April 19, 2026, in two shifts across multiple districts in Jharkhand.

The first shift will run from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by the second shift from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. General Studies papers will be held in both sessions.

Admit Cards from April 8; No Postal Delivery

Candidates can download their admit cards from April 8, 2026, via the official website of JPSC or through the OTR (One Time Registration) portal. The Commission has clarified that admit cards will not be sent by post.

Mandatory Documents and Reporting Time

Candidates must carry their admit card, attendance sheet, four passport-sized colour photographs, and a valid photo ID to the examination centre. Entry will not be permitted without these documents.

Candidates are required to report by 8:00 AM for the first shift and 1:00 PM for the second shift.

Biometric Checks, Strict Ban on Gadgets

Biometric and iris scanning arrangements have been made at all examination centres to ensure transparency.

The Commission has strictly prohibited mobile phones, electronic devices, books, bags, and other restricted items inside the exam halls. Violations may lead to strict action.

Helpline for Admit Card Issues

In case of difficulties downloading admit cards, candidates can contact the helpline at 8929883832 on working days between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM, until April 18, 2026.
