Ranchi, Oct 4: Former Accountant General of Jharkhand, Benjamin Lakra, passed away on Saturday morning. He had been undergoing treatment for several days at Santevita Hospital in Ranchi.

His mortal remains were kept for public viewing at the hall of Archbishop’s House on Dr Kamil Bulke Path from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

After that, the body will be taken to Simdega, where his last rites will be performed on Sunday at 12 noon at his ancestral home in Jharain, Kurdeg.
