Dubai, Jan 25: The ICC has announced its T20I Team of the Year for 2024, with four Indians included. Pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh, along with Rohit Sharma and all-rounder Hardik Pandya, made the cut.
Rohit Sharma has been elected captain of the ICC T20I team after leading India to victory in the tournament. Despite struggling in Test cricket, he finished as the second-highest run-scorer in the T20 World Cup and secured his first ICC silverware as India’s captain.

Bumrah was named the Player of the Tournament at the 2024 T20 World Cup, where India claimed their second title.
The ICC Men’s T20I Team of the Year for 2024 also features other notable players, including Travis Head, Phil Salt, Babar Azam, and Nicholas Pooran (who is the wicketkeeper). Sikandar Raza, Rashid Khan, and Wanindu Hasaranga round out the lineup making it a well-rounded and formidable squad.
