Dhanbad, Nov 25: Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani will be the chief speaker on the final day of the IIT Indian School of Mines (ISM) Dhanbad Centenary Celebration on December 9.
IIT ISM, established in 1926, will organise an eight-day centenary celebration from December 3 to 9, featuring a series of programmes, panel discussions, and workshops.
Centenary Week to Begin on December 3
According to the schedule released by the institute, the celebration will start on December 3 with Amrit Kal Vimarsh on the theme “Viksit Bharat @ 2047: Technology and Skill Initiatives”.
The event will run from 9 am to 8 pm.

Panel Discussions and Themes Through the Week
On December 4, a panel discussion will focus on Innovative Technologies for Critical Minerals, Geo-energy and Geosciences, along with activities marking Wildlife Conservation Day.
On December 5, experts will speak on Environmental Conservation, Sustainable Renewable Energy, and related subjects.
Workshops on Indian Knowledge System and Nari Shakti
The fourth day, December 6, will feature a workshop on the Indian Knowledge System, Nari Shakti, and the Jharkhand School Innovation Challenges 2025.
Tech-Powered India, Make in India, Energy Transition
On December 7, the celebration will continue with a panel discussion on Tech-Powered India: Computing and Communication.
On December 8, discussions will be held on Make in India and Energy Transition for Viksit Bharat @ 2047.
