Jamshedpur, March 17: The grand state-level Bangiya Utsav 2025, organised by Bangiya Utsav Samiti, was organised at the Gopal Maidan in Bistupur here on Sunday.
Artists, literary persons and others from various parts of Jharkhand attended the festival.
State Education Minister Ramdas Soren, Hata Mataji Ashram’s Binay Babaji, former MLA Kunal Sarangi, festival committee chairman Partha Sarathi Chatterjee, chairman Amit Kumar, executive chairman Aparna Guha, Indrajit, Purvi Ghosh, Anshu Sarkar, Prakash Mukherjee, were guests in the first session of this festival.
Education Minister Ramdas Soren said that people of the society need to come forward to save the language and culture.
Anshu Sarkar and his team, honored with the Yugpurush Samman, displayed 27 Yogasanas. The artists from Chaibasa kept their traditional dance styles tied up. Famous flute player Ashok Das and mouth organist Vikas Kumar Sheet mesmerized the audience.

Local MLA Saryu Roy also attended the festival. Former MLA Kunal Sarangi presented a Bangla song.
Saumi Bose of Jamshedpur, Sandeep Bose, Sudeepta Das and his team gave an attractive performance of dance on Kathak and Rabindra music on the theme of spring.
Ankita Basu Banerjee of Star Jalsa superstar fame, Ranchi, also attended the gala event. Bangla folk singer Paushali Banerjee mesmerized the audience in the evening.
Thousands of people from all the districts of Jharkhand participated in this grand event.
The festival proved to be an important opportunity not only for the Bengali community but also for the overall cultural heritage of Jharkhand.
The organizing committee had also set up a selfie point and food stalls to make the festival memorable.
