Srinagar, Sept 28: Police reported on Saturday that two unidentified terrorists were killed, and five security personnel, including an officer, were injured during an encounter in the Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Following a cordon-and-search operation initiated by security forces earlier in the morning, the gunfight erupted in Adigam village, located in the Devsar area of Kulgam district.

Officials reported that during the initial exchange of gunfire, Additional Superintendent of Police (Traffic), Mumtaz Ali, sustained minor injuries from a stray bullet near the encounter location.
It was reported that four security personnel participating in the anti-terror operation were injured during the encounter.
Police confirmed that two terrorists were neutralized, and search operations are ongoing in the area.
Authorities are working to determine the identities and group affiliations of the killed terrorists.
