Ranchi, February 12: In the first major bureaucratic reshuffle after Champai Soren became chief minister, the State government transferred Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel to Forest Secretary today.
Dadel, a 1995 batch IAS officer who was principal secretary to ex-chief minister Hemant Soren, will continue to hold the charge of Principal Secretary of the Women and Child Development Department.
According to a notification issued by the Department of Personnel, Rural Development Secretary Ajoy Kumar Singh will hold the additional charge of the cabinet department. Singh, a 1995 batch IAS officer, is also responsible for the principal secretary of the health department.
Land Reforms and Revenue Secretary Manish Ranjan will hold the additional Secretary, Building construction department charge.

The secretary in charge of the SC/ST/OBC welfare department, Arwa Kamal, will hold the additional charge of MD, Greater Ranchi Development Agency (GRDA).
Sahibganj, Jamshedpur DCs shifted
Sahibganj DC Ram Niwas Yadav, facing the ED probe in the mining scam, has been transferred and posted as Director of higher education. Gumla DDC Hemant Sati will replace Yadav in Sahibganj.
Jamshedpur DC Manjunath Bhajantri has been shifted to Subarnarekha Project, Jamshedpur, as Administrator. West Singhbhum DC Ananya Mittal will replace Bhajantri in Jamshedpur.
