Jamshedpur, May 27: IIM Ranchi has kicked off its six-day residential Summer Programme in Management (SPM), beginning May 26.

This exclusive initiative brings together undergraduate and freshly graduated students from diverse regions of India, all united by a common goal—exploring the world of management education.

Structured as a comprehensive academic immersion, the programme introduces participants to essential management concepts, real-world industry applications, and the skills required for leadership in dynamic professional environments.

Through interactive lectures, case studies, and peer engagement, students will gain clarity on the significance of an MBA and the roadmap to gaining admission into top-tier business schools.
The inaugural session featured insights from Programme Directors Prof. Rajeev Verma, Prof. Krishna Kumar Dadsena, and Prof. Jagan Kumar Sur.

Prof. Dadsena emphasized the transformative potential of management education in nurturing analytical thinking, solution-oriented approaches, and personal development. He also outlined the key areas covered in the programme, ranging from understanding managerial roles to preparing for entrance exams like CAT.
Prof. Verma welcomed participants with an emphasis on building intellectual clarity, communication skills, and mental resilience—qualities that define successful professionals. Prof. Sur detailed the academic structure and future relevance of the subjects included in the programme.
