Jamshedpur, Jan 11: The Ranchi Meteorological Centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted an increase in minimum temperatures across Jharkhand starting tomorrow.
As per the prediction, the minimum temperature is likely to rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius over the next 72 hours.
Meteorologists stated that no significant synoptic weather conditions are currently affecting Jharkhand. However, shallow to moderate fog is expected to persist over the next few days.
For the second day in a row, Gumla recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the state, with the local observatory reporting 3.7 degrees Celsius.

Close on its heels, Chatra recorded a minimum temperature of 4 degrees Celsius, followed by Lohardaga at 4.9 degrees Celsius and Ramgarh at 5.3 degrees Celsius.
The capital city of Ranchi recorded a minimum temperature of 7.6 degrees Celsius today, while Jamshedpur reported 8.8 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, Daltonganj recorded a minimum temperature of 6.7 degrees Celsius, and Bokaro registered 7.2 degrees Celsius.
