Dumka, May 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today made a scathing attack on the JMM-Congress and asked the people to recognize the stark reality under the JMM-Congress rule.

“The JMM and Congress are looting Jharkhand from all sides. Look around you… beautiful mountains, but Jharkhand is now infamous for its mountains of currency notes. Crores of rupees are being seized. Where is this money coming from? Liquor scams, tender scams, and massive mining scams! This is the reality under JMM-Congress,” he said while addressing an election rally in Dumka.

Dumka along with Godda and Rajmahal in Santhal Pargana go to poll on June 1.

Modi today added another scam to the list of scams being investigated by the ED in Jharkhand. ‘There is a huge scam in nal- se-jal yojana sponsored by the Central government,” he pointed out.

Notably, a PIL has already been filed in the Jharkhand High Court, by Daniel Danish, a social worker, saying the scam in the drinking water and sanitation department involved Rs 4000 crore.

Destructive policies of INDI Alliance

Criticising the INDI Alliance’s neglect of tribal interests, Modi emphasised their destructive policies. “For the INDI Alliance, only their vote bank matters. They have no regard for the tribal society’s interests. Wherever they come to power, tribal society and culture are in danger. Their weapons against tribals are racism, infiltration, and appeasement!” he maintained.

“Infiltrators are targeting our tribal daughters. Their safety and lives are in danger. We must act to protect them and their future,” the PM added further.

INDI Alliance extreme communal politics

Modi castigated the dangerous politics of the INDI Alliance, “Their formula is simple: engage in extreme communal politics and appeasement, protect separatists and terrorists, and accuse anyone opposing them of dividing Hindus and Muslims. The INDI Alliance wants to give reservations to Muslims based on religion. Modi stands firm—I will not let the reservation for SC, ST, and OBC be looted. And this stance unsettles the INDI crowd.”

Outlining his plans for a Viksit and prosperous Bharat, he urged the people to continue their support for transformative progress,

“The work we’ve accomplished in the past 10 years must be taken further in the next 5 years. We will make 3 crore mothers and sisters ‘Lakhpati Didis.’ After forming the government, we will provide new and permanent houses to 3 crore more poor. To eliminate your electricity bills, I’ve launched the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, for installing solar panels on your homes. You will use the electricity generated at home and earn money by selling the surplus to the government,” he pointed out.
