Hulunbuir, September 16: Captain Harmanpreet Singh delivered a stellar performance, scoring twice and leading defending champions India to a decisive 4-1 victory over South Korea in the semi-final of the Asian Champions Trophy on Monday, securing their place in the final.
India’s goals were scored by Uttam Singh (13th minute), captain Harmanpreet Singh (19th and 45th minutes), and Jarmanpreet Singh (32nd minute), while South Korea’s sole goal was netted by Yang Jihun (33rd minute) from a penalty corner.

India will compete against host China in the final on Tuesday.

Today’s victory marked India’s sixth straight victory in the tournament.
Earlier today, China advanced by overcoming Pakistan 2-0 in a shoot-out following a 1-1 draw at the end of regular time.
Earlier on September 14, India beat arch-rivals Pakistan 2-1 to remain unbeaten in the tournament.
