Kupwara, May 16: In the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Army shot and killed two terrorists on Thursday after stopping an attempt to infiltrate along the Line of Control (LoC), according to sources.
A search operation was being conducted in the area.
A post on the official X handle of the army’s Chinar Corps stated, “On specific intelligence input, a joint search operation was launched by the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police in the general area of Amrohi, Tangdhar, and Kupwara on May 15, 2024.”
The post mentioned that during the follow-up search operation, two pistols, ammunition, and other items akin to military supplies were found.
