Imphal, September 10: Due to recent violence in Manipur, the state government has enforced a ban on internet services beginning Tuesday.

The Manipur government’s orders specify that the internet ban will remain in effect until September 15.

In a notice released on Tuesday, the Manipur government stated that the internet ban aims to prevent the dissemination of misinformation and false rumours via social media platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
