The raid inside the factory continued till 5 pm. The security personnel of the IT team neither allowed anyone to go inside nor come out of the premises. It could not be ascertained whether the IT team is from Bengal or any other place as officials posted at the gate did not talk with media persons about it. Since raids are also underway at the residence and offices of Mahendra Sharma in Asansol, IT teams are presumed to belong to Bengal.
Sources said that a BJP leader of Hazaribagh has also a share in the liquor factory. Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu’s connection is also being searched in this raid. The raid is also under progress at the house of former TMC MLA Sohrab Ali.
