Ranchi, Feb 20: The Class 10 Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) board exams, which began on February 11, faced a paper leak involving the Hindi and Science theory papers. The JAC board’s investigation confirmed the leak, leading to the cancellation of the exams across the state.
It is reported that the paper was leaked two days in advance. After today’s exam, a comparison with the actual question paper confirmed that the leaked paper was identical, leading to the decision to cancel the exam.
The Hindi exam was conducted on February 18, while the Science exam was held today. With the exams now cancelled, it will be interesting to see what actions will be taken next.

Notably, the Science paper was leaked and went viral even before the exam on February 20. The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) confirmed the leak in its investigation.
JAC Chairman Natwa Hansda informed the media that when the question paper was opened at 9:45 AM, it was matched with the leaked paper, and the leak was confirmed.
He also stated that Chief Secretary Alka Tiwari has held a high-level meeting regarding the issue.
The JAC chairman said that a high-level committee will be formed to investigate the paper leak. This committee will examine the matter and recommend action against those responsible.
