Ranchi, March 30: BJP State President and Leader of the Opposition, Babulal Marandi, has posed a critical question to the Jamshedpur Police.
He stated that reports indicated that Anuj Kanaujia, a notorious shooter linked to the Mukhtar Ansari gang, was killed in an encounter in Jamshedpur. According to available information, Anuj had been hiding in the city for several months, allegedly planning major criminal activities.

Marandi has urged the Jamshedpur Police to disclose who provided shelter to Anuj. “Who were the individuals aiding him? Is there a larger organised crime network operating in Jamshedpur?,” he asked.
He emphasised that, in the interest of public awareness and law and order, the police must publicly name those who assisted this infamous criminal in evading capture.
Marandi further asserted that unless those protecting such criminals are exposed, it will be difficult to uproot crime at its core.
